Thanks as regards this piece of information you have made available to the public...it is great. However, i would like to point out that i am encountering this similar issue with a lenovo desktop and not a laptop as the piece indicate and so the aspect of clicking : "ThinkVintage Technologies" in the productivitity center to enable viewing of the password manager icons isn't available on lenovo desktop and i'm yet to get around it...i would appretiate it if any support can be given in this regard.

Thanks and God Bless

The problem of loading Jinitiator based apps in IE7 remains as it is. Actually I'm using IE7 on Vista on a AMD based desktop PC. Can you help me come out of this problem.

I seem to have the same problem using IE6 on a ThinkPad T42 with ThinkVantage Password Manager. I used to use a web application that used JInitiator 1.1.8.19, but can no longer use the (Navy) site from my home computer, so as far as I know, I have no need for JInitiator any longer. And I really like the Password Manager, even though it keeps crashing IE.

Is there some way that I can check to see if JInitiator is being used for another site before I try disabling? If I disable JInitiator I assume all I need to do is use the JInitiator Control Panel and uncheck Enable JInitiator - is that it?

Thanks Bryan. I too just brought one of these laptops and found myself toggling between using IE and Firefox just to get by. I even removed IE7 and resorted to IE6, but still encountered the same issue. You are a lifesaver.
